It was nice to get out after a long week. For those that don't know, Joe was laid off on Thursday as his company as very little work. Hopefully they will pick up soon, and this will be short lived!
Leah is doing awesome with her cast. She is just as active as ever- it definitely does not slow her down. It is on her right wrist- her dominant hand! It has amazed me how well she has adjusted to using her left hand to write (she can legibly write her name), color, and eat! She is still participating in dance and gymnastics (modified), but we had to decide not to let her do skating lessons this winter, we will hold off until the spring. The break/displacement is still not healed and the doctor felt it might be a little too risky at this time.
