Summer fun

Last Sunday while Joe and I did some yardwork, Leah enjoyed some outdoor play! Then Leah and I headed out for a bike ride. She loves to ride her bike! This week she is at the cabin with my parents. I have a class all week (and I don't get home until 7pm) and Joe will be in Rockford, IL for work. It is going to be very quite around our house! I think Leah will have a blast. I am not sure how I will do! :)

4th of July

We had a great 4th up at the cabin with my parents, Dan, Tiffanie, Thea, Delila, Tiff's parents- Jim and Renate, and Tiff's sister- Jamie.

The girls just kept going like energizer bunnies. Delila fell asleep before the fireworks started and Leah and Thea both fell asleep DURING the fireworks!

Como Zoo

Along with our friends, Mike and Sara and their son, Michael, Joe and I took Leah to Como Zoo last Sunday. Michael and Leah had a blast! They had fun seeing the animals. Leah's favorite still seems to be "Sparky the Sea Lion." They also had a lot of fun going on the rides and playing in the park at Como Town. Of course, they also had to ride the carousel! Leah was so tired that after we got home, she took a bath, and before we had dinner- she fell asleep in my arms- Precious! Lucky girl got to go back to the zoo on Thursday when her school went on a field trip!
