Leah's FIRST fish

Leah and I along with my parents headed up to the cabin last weekend. We had such a nice time with great cabin weather. We spent much time by the lake- relaxing, swimming, playing in the sand, boating (per Leah's request- such a change from last year), and, of course, taking Leah to the playground. Leah and Grandpa did some REAL fishing off of the dock. Leah caught her first fish- well, 3 to be exact. She even brought them in with her Barbie fishing pool- with a little help from Grandpa! Only bad thing about the weekend- the mosquitoes were horrible and poor Leah is loved by them - even through the bug spray!

We spent Sunday in Duluth at Uncle Jim and Aunt Vicky's house. We had a very nice time visiting with them as well as Uncle Steve, Aunt Linda, Uncle Phil, Aunt Maggie, Cousin Chris and Cousin Anthony. I don't see Anthony very much and I can not believe how big he is getting. Such a cutie. Chris and Anthony were both so sweet with Leah. They even let her hang out in the hot tub- which so LOVED!

Leah's first love

So, it seems that Leah is going to marry Austin (her friend from daycare). This is what she said to me the other day as she was describing her day.

"Austin was looking at me, and I was looking at Austin. One of the school-agers said to me...You love Austin...(she giggles)...Austin says...I am going to marry Leah."

I asked Leah, "so you are going to marry Austin."

She replied, "No, Austin is going to marry me!"

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

We had a great day yesterday as we (My mom, Leah, Tiffanie, Thea, Delila, and myself) went to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. What a beautiful place. We had such a nice day. Leah and Thea had a fabulous time together (as always). They liked the flowers, but it was the water fountains that they loved!

So, we usually try to get a good picture of all three girls together- usually we are not successful at getting the timing just right!

Joe is working out of town for the second week in a row- we miss you hon! See you tomorrow.
