Skating Natural??

Last Saturday, Leah, Thea, Nonna, Tiffanie and I went to Sesame Street Live . The girls really seemed to enjoy it. They even did a little dancing along with the characters.

On Sunday, I took Leah ice skating for the first time. The rink is actually just at my parent's next door neighbor's house. He has put up a very nice rink, and they invited us to come over! Leah did so great. I was amazed. I couldn't believe that after about 1/2 hour, she was standing alone, turning alone, and "skating." Yes, she did fall- thankfully she had the extra cushion of her snowpants- she seemed to think it was funny when she fell. She only complained when she fell one time, and it was a pretty hard fall!

The first video is at the start of our skating experience. The second video (excuse the sideways picture- I always forget I can't hold the camera vertical when I take video) is at the end. She was enjoying herself so much! I think we were out there for about 1.5 hours.

Sledding and Dress up

Leah and I went sledding last Tuesday. I didn't think that she would want to go down the hill by herself- but was I wrong! She didn't even want me to go down with her the first time, and she LOVED it. She even walked back up by herself.

Here is a picture of Leah playing dress up after Christmas with some of her new gear- Tiara and tutu from Nonna and Grandpa and shoes from Aunt Tiff and Uncle Dan. Just thought it was cute. She is wearing her new Taylor Swift T-shirt that she got from Morgan for Christmas.

Just Joe and Andrea

New Year's Eve- bowling with friends (Rick, Jaclyn, Heath, and Kari).

WILD hockey game with my parents, Dan and Tiffanie. Good seats, good game, and good time, but the WILD lost!

Joe and I at the Viking game. Good seats, okay game (they fell apart the last quarter), good time!

A question to ponder...
HOW many TIMES can a 31/2 year old little girl watch Cinderella?
